A Community Committed to Your Comeback
Shirley Jankowski, PhD — Program Director
Shirley Jankowski began researching substance abuse and brain chemistry in 2012 after her daughters’ struggle with addiction brought the disease into her personal life. Motivated by this experience, she immersed herself in studying addiction treatment systems and the stigma surrounding those affected.
Gina L. McClure, MA, TCADC — Clinical Director
Graduated Liberty University In Lynchburg Virgina bachelor's in psychology focus on addiction/recovery and treatment, master's in human services crises response and trauma. and Masters level clinical mental health counseling.
Jennifer Lusk — Director of Nursing
Born and raised in Western Kentucky, Jennifer earned her RN, BSN from Murray State University in 1998. She began her career at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton, Kentucky—the same location where Changes now operates.
Judi Scharmann, M.A., TCADC — Clinical Drug & Alcohol Therapist
Judi brings over 13 years of experience in drug and alcohol counseling, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Addiction Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University. Before joining Changes in 2021, she worked with the Department of Corrections as a Substance Abuse Program Counselor.
Lora Ann Taylor — Therapist
Lora Ann Taylor is proud to live in recovery, one day at a time, since September 7, 2005. She began working at Changes as a Journey Guide in November 2019 and transitioned into her role as Therapist in May 2021.
Dr. Nancy A. Warren — Registered Nurse
Dr. Warren is an original member of the Changes team and was present when the very first clients were admitted to the facility. She holds a PhD in Family Nursing from Georgia State University; a Master of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Murray State University; and an Associate of Arts from U.T. Martin.
Amber Stoltenburg — Director of Admissions
Amber began her journey at Changes as a volunteer after graduating from the program. Inspired by her transformation, she joined the staff and has served in multiple roles across the organization. She earned her Peer Specialist Certification and has recently been promoted to Director of Admissions.
Jonathan Reed — Case Manager
Jonathan Reed, CADC II, is a dedicated substance abuse professional with a passion for helping others achieve lasting recovery. He is a graduate of the University of Phoenix and Western Kentucky University. Jonathan currently serves as a Case Manager, where he works closely with clients to build realistic, long-term goals for sobriety and personal growth.
Dan Curran — Director of Security
Dan Curran serves as the Director of Security at Changes Rehabilitation, where he has been a dedicated team member for over five years. With a strong commitment to maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment, Dan plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being of both clients and staff.
Amanda Meyers — Therapist
Amanda Meyers has been a dedicated member of the team at Changes Rehabilitation since August 2022. She began as a Recovery Mentor, was promoted to Mentor Supervisor, and upon earning her CADCA Level 1 certification in June 2024, was promoted to Therapist.
Julie “Jewels” Carde — Administrative Assistant
Julie “Jewels” Carde is a dedicated Administrative Assistant at Changes Rehabilitation, where she has proudly served for the almost three years. In her role, Julie works closely with the Admissions team and Program Director to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for every individual entering treatment.
Jennifer Shempert C.A.D.C.1 — Therapist
Jennifer began her journey with Changes Rehabilitation in November 2022 as a client, seeking a new path toward healing and growth. Through dedication, resilience, and a passion for helping others, she quickly became an integral part of the organization.
Trip Roby – Peer Support Supervisor
Trip Roby is a dedicated Peer Support Supervisor at Changes Rehabilitation, where he has served for over four years helping individuals navigate the challenges of addiction recovery.
KAINE WINSTON-- IOP Administrator
As the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Administrator and Utilization Review Specialist at Changes Rehabilitation, I bring both professional dedication and lived experience to my role. With over two years in recovery, I have a deep understanding of the challenges individuals face when choosing a new path in life.
Joe Tyler Hollingsworth – Recovery Mentor
I serve as a Recovery Mentor at Changes Rehabilitation in Fulton, Kentucky.
It was here that I finally stopped running from my struggles. At Changes, I found what I had been searching for my entire life—a place to call home.
Teresa Papierski – Recovery Mentor
My name is Teresa Papierski, and I’m from Troy, Tennessee. I came to Changes Rehabilitation seeking help for my struggles with drugs and alcohol, and I’m so grateful that I chose Changes.
