Changes Rehabilitation is excited to announce we are holding our first Alumni Family Day on October 22, at 10 am, at our facility located at 2000 Holiday Lane, Fulton, Kentucky. This free event is a celebration of recovery for everyone who has been at the facility, and their families.
Since we opened just under two years ago we have already had more than 800 people graduate from our holistic program which helps people replace addiction with passion.
The free family celebration, themed “We Can Recover, We Do Recover,” will feature inspirational speeches from past graduates, music from local bands, and delicious food for all who attend. Most importantly, the event will provide the opportunity for people to come together, support each other, and share stories about their recovery journeys.
Dr. Shirley Jankowski, Program Director at Changes said, “We are so excited to welcome back the graduates of our program and their families to share their stories and be together as we celebrate the fact that recovery is possible. At Changes, we believe deeply that the path to recovery is one of peace, love and healing and we are looking forward to spending an inspirational day with so many who now know this is possible. We encourage everyone who has been at Changes to come down and celebrate with us.”
Changes provides inpatient treatment, support groups and aftercare for those with substance use disorders. The facility takes a unique approach to addiction treatment, utilizing over 70 different group topics like arts and crafts, photography, film, music, yoga/meditation, and other creative acts to help people discover, or rediscover, their passion.
